'06 Video Guerilleros
Like in 2003 the BerlinBeamBoys have yet again delighted the people in the dark streets of Havana with their multicolored light paintings. The spectacular actions have led to several police operations with arrests and questioning by the secret state police.
Malecon
 
It is not easy to stay out of politics as an artist in Cuba. At this Beam action on a multistoried building at the Malecon in the range of vision of the US embassy some twisted slogans lit up.

When leaving the building six police cars waited. Three members of the CUBABRASIL collective were arrested and questioned on the suspicion of contra revolutionary activities.
